Memories ... CH Mole End Hold That Tiger VCD1, JH, AX, OAJ Irish Water Spaniel  Bred by Liz Weaver, Tige followed in the noseprints of his mother (CH Mole End School for Scandal TD) and started his career by earning his Tracking Dog (TD) title with Lisa. At the age of 8 he earned his JH and VCD1 titles from the AKC. By earning his JH title he qualified for the Irish Water Spaniel Club of America "All-Around" medallion. We were all proud that he was the first dog carrying the Mole End kennel name to earn that award. He may be gone but he will be remembered as a true Irishman and remain in our hearts forever young. CH Kay N Dee Hiddenbrook Rampage CD, TD, VST English Springer Spaniel  JJ was the first dog Ed earned a tracking title with. When Ed took in JJ it was his eighth home and JJ was less than four year old at the time. Fighing back from cancer surgery, Ed took him along to watch as Merlin his Clumber Spaniel trained. After watching for several months, JJ told us he could do it too. It was only fitting for him to be the first. He passed his TD on a cold winter morning in 1994 only five minutes before Merlin passed. JJ was the first Spaniel of any breed and only the sixth dog of any breed to earn the coveted Variable Surface Tracker (VST) title. He taught Ed about patience and trust and being a real part of the team and was the subject of Ed's first nomination for a DWAA Maxwell Award with the story he wrote about him. He will always be close to our hearts.CH Andchelle Lord Raglan TD, VST Clumber Spaniel  An English import bred by Michell Meridith, Merlin quickly finished his show Championship and started out into the field and into the history books by becoming the first Clumber Spaniel and only the ninth dog of any breed to earn the coveted Variable Surface Tracker (VST) title. Merlin and Ed were featured in the Animal Planet video, Breed All About It - The Clumber Spaniel, have worked as an Animal Assisted Therapy team and in Urban Search and Rescue. Merlin's photograph became synomonous with the breed as the logo for the ClumberSpaniel list on Yahoo! and as featured artwork offered by FuzzyFaces designs. Ed and Dillon earned their VST and Champion Tracker title on April 20, 2003. On September 20, 2003 Dillion became the first dog of any breed to pass at the 2003 AKC National Tracking Invitational in Asheville, NC.
